If you’re new to Kinse or want a quick answer, you’re in the right place. The questions below cover setup, phone check-ins, medications, and billing. If you don’t find what you need, message Kinse support from the app on desktop or tablet, or email support@kinse.io.

Getting started

No. Your loved one only needs a regular phone, landline or mobile. Kinse calls them directly and they answer and talk with Cora, the Kinse voice on the call. Nothing to download, no account to create, and no screen to navigate. Kinse is built so people benefit without changing how they already use their phone.
Kinse calls from a consistent number tied to each person on your plan. You can find it in the home page so your loved one can save it as a contact. Recognizable caller ID helps reduce missed or ignored calls.
No. There is no free trial of live calls. Unpaid chrome shows Choose a plan to start phone check-ins. Outbound phone check-ins need a paid plan. Choose Essentials or Everyday in Billing inside Settings.
Cora will not call until you set a check-in time under Calls → Check-ins and you have a paid plan. Setup alone does not start outbound phone check-ins.
Account owners can message Kinse support from the app on desktop or tablet: open Open setup and help, then choose Messages. On phone, Messages is not available in this version. Anyone can email support@kinse.io.

Phone check-ins

It depends on your plan and the times you set in the app:
  • Essentials: up to 3 phone check-ins per person per week
  • Everyday: up to 7 phone check-ins per person per week
You choose specific days and times under Calls → Check-ins. Kinse does not call outside the times you set.
If a call goes unanswered, Kinse records the missed call and can notify you depending on your alert settings. Kinse does not leave voicemails by default. Repeated missed calls show in the home page so you can follow up. Adjust call times if needed to match when they are usually available.
Yes. Cora can carry context from one call to the next. Follow-ups can reference what was shared earlier, which helps phone check-ins feel continuous rather than scripted.
Kinse does not store call recordings. After each call you can see how the conversation went in the home page and on Calendar → Timeline: medication tracking and notable moments. These updates are written for caregivers; they are not full word-for-word transcripts.

Medications

Kinse tracks what your loved one reports during the call. A missed or refused dose can trigger an alert (in-app, email, or push depending on your notification settings). Review medication status under Calls → Medications.
Yes. Medications are not part of setup. Add, edit, or pause medications anytime from Calls → Medications. Changes apply on the next relevant call.
Medication reminders are included on both Essentials and Everyday, and are uncapped. There is no limit per person. Each medication can have its own dosage and schedule.

Family & billing

You can invite up to 4 care team members per person, with a maximum of 8 care team members account-wide. They can view updates and alerts for people they are connected to. Care team members are not billed and are separate from membership (the people Kinse calls). Manage invites under Care Circle → Care team.
Yes. Price is per person called on Essentials or Everyday:
  • Essentials: $29/month or $290/year per person called (3 check-ins/week)
  • Everyday: $39/month or $390/year per person called (7 check-ins/week)
Medication reminders are included and uncapped on both plans. Self-serve accounts support up to 5 people; a 6th routes to Enterprise/contact. Membership is required to add another person. Each person has their own schedule, medications, and history under one login.
Major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) through Polar. Kinse does not store card numbers. Update payment via Billing inside Settings; use Manage in Polar once you have an active Polar subscription.
