Kinse keeps you informed about phone check-ins, medications, and alerts for the people on your plan. You control email and push delivery. In-app alerts still show on Home, Calendar → Timeline → Alerts, and the notification bell when Kinse creates an alert. To access these settings, go to Settings → Notifications.

What you can set today

The settings strings still say Family Circle. In the sidebar that area is Care Circle. For updates and handoffs there, see Care board and Care team.
In-app alerts still appear on Home, Timeline Alerts, and the notification bell even if email and push are off.

Text alerts

Text alerts are not available yet. They may appear as coming soon. Do not rely on text messages for alerts today. Contact support@kinse.io if you have questions.

Quiet hours

Quiet hours pause non-urgent email and push notifications during a time window you define. In-app alerts still appear on Home and Timeline. Emergency override lets urgent alerts still reach you. To enable quiet hours:
  1. Turn quiet hours on.
  2. Set a Start time (e.g., 22:00).
  3. Set an End time (e.g., 08:00).

Push on this device

Kinse can send push notifications on the device you are using. To enable them:
  1. Go to Settings → Notifications.
  2. Turn on Push on this device.
  3. When your browser or device prompts you for permission, select Allow.
You can send yourself a test notification to confirm everything is working.
Push notifications require your browser or device to grant permission. If you dismiss the permission prompt, re-enable notifications in your browser’s site settings.

Saving your preferences

After you change toggles, click Save preferences on the Notifications tab. Kinse applies your choices to future email and push delivery. In-app alerts are not turned off by these toggles.
