When you sign up for Kinse, setup asks Who will Cora be calling? Choose Me or A loved one. That choice determines whose phone number Kinse calls, how your home page is organized, and how many people called you have. You can change your setup later without losing data.
Who will Cora be calling?

For Myself

Choose this if you want Kinse to call you directly. You are both the account holder and the person receiving phone check-ins, medication reminders, and updates on how calls went.Who it’s for:
  • People who want routine support and friendly phone check-ins
  • Anyone managing their own medications who wants gentle reminders
  • People who want family informed without coordinating every call themselves
What happens:
  • Kinse calls your phone on the check-in schedule you set under Calls → Check-ins
  • Cora, the Kinse voice on the call, leads the conversation
  • Care team members you invite can receive updates and alerts
  • You manage check-ins, medications, and settings from the home page
How billing works:
  • You count as one person called at Essentials ($29/month or $290/year) or Everyday ($39/month or $390/year)
  • Medication reminders are included and uncapped on both plans
  • Outbound phone check-ins need a paid plan. Unpaid chrome shows Choose a plan to start phone check-ins
  • Up to 4 care team members per person, 8 account-wide, at no extra charge (not billed)
You can convert a “For Myself” account to Hybrid later by adding a loved one from setup or person edit under Settings → People. Membership is required to add another person.

Comparing account types

All account types include phone check-ins, medication reminders (uncapped on both plans), and alerts. Plan choice (Essentials vs Everyday) only changes check-ins per week (3 vs 7), not which features you can use.
