When a phone check-in or medication reminder surfaces something that needs attention, Kinse creates an alert. You see how they’re doing on Home, and you can open the alert on Calendar → Timeline → Alerts. The notification bell can surface new alerts too. There is no separate Alerts inbox page in the app.

Where alerts show

  • Home: how they’re doing on the person row
  • Calendar → Timeline → Alerts: the Timeline Alerts tab (see Timeline)
  • Notification bell: opens recent alerts without a dedicated inbox
On Timeline Alerts, you may Acknowledge or Resolve after you follow up.

What can trigger an alert

Common reasons include:
  • A missed or unconfirmed medication
  • An unanswered check-in
  • A concerning response or emergency request during a call
  • A subscription payment that failed
Kinse is not an emergency service. If someone is in immediate danger, call local emergency services.

How alerts reach you outside the app

In-app surfaces on Home, Timeline Alerts, and the bell stay available when Kinse creates an alert. For email and push, use Settings → Notifications:
  • Important alert emails
  • Summary emails (Off / Weekly / Daily)
  • Membership emails
  • Push on this device
  • Quiet hours with emergency override when you need them
Text alerts may show as coming soon. Do not rely on text messages for alerts today. Save changes with Save preferences.
For the full list of delivery toggles, see Notifications.
