# Set reminder calls under Calls → Reminders

> On Calls → Reminders, set short meal, bedtime, hydration, and exercise calls, and see upcoming calendar cues.

**Reminders** is where you set short reminder calls that are not about medication. Open **Calls → Reminders**. The page reads: **Meal, bedtime, hydration, and exercise nudges, plus calendar cues. Pill schedules stay on Medications.**

This page is different from:

* [Check-in schedule](https://docs.kinse.io/features/check-ins.md): longer phone check-ins with Cora
* [Medications](https://docs.kinse.io/features/medication-reminders.md): medication reminder calls. Choose **Medication Reminders on Medications** to go there.

## Add a reminder

1. Choose **Add Reminder**.
2. Pick a **Type**: **Breakfast**, **Lunch**, **Dinner**, **Bedtime**, **Hydration**, **Exercise**, or **Other**.
3. If you chose **Other**, enter a **Name**. This is what Cora calls the reminder.
4. Pick a **Day** and a **Time**. Times are in their local time.
5. Choose **Save Reminder**.

You see **Reminder saved**. The reminder appears under **Reminder schedules**.

If you look after more than one person, use the person tabs to choose whose reminders you are managing.

You can also add a reminder from **Calendar**. Choose **Add**, then **Reminder**.

## Change, pause, or remove a reminder

Each reminder card has the same actions as a check-in card:

* **Pause calls** or **Resume calls**
* **Skip next** to skip only the next call
* **Edit** to change the type, day, or time
* **Delete** to remove it

## Upcoming calendar cues

**Upcoming calendar cues** lists appointments coming up from [Calendar](https://docs.kinse.io/features/calendar.md). Cora can mention an appointment on the next check-in or reminder call. You can also turn on an extra call before the appointment.

If there is nothing coming up, you see **No upcoming calendar cues.**

## Call minutes

The page shows: **Calls use your shared call minutes. Kinse places up to 6 calls a day per person; medication reminders always go through.**

* A reminder call lasts up to 2 minutes.
* Reminder calls use the same call minutes as check-ins and medication reminders.
* If your minutes run out, reminder calls on this page pause until your minutes reset. Medication reminder calls keep calling.

When you add a reminder, Kinse tells you if your schedule may use more minutes than your plan includes. See [Billing](https://docs.kinse.io/account/billing.md) for how call minutes work.
